Twinkle, Twinkle, Small-cap stars
About this event
The UK stock market remains cheap relative to most other developed markets. Within that, small-caps are also trading at a significant discount to their larger-capped peers.
Low interest rates, inflation and nominal growth all conspired to act as headwinds to relative and absolute small-cap performance. Quantitative Easing further disproportionally benefited large over small. Yet, the world and markets move in cycles and a new epoch is taking shape; one we believe where the stars are aligning for a prolonged period of small-cap outperformance.
Please join us as we explore these themes and why we believe now is a good time to increase exposure to small-caps as an asset class.
Risks to consider
- Investing in inheritance tax services carries risks and is not suitable for everyone. Investors should be comfortable with taking on these risks and we recommend that they seek financial advice before they put their money into an inheritance tax service.
- The value of an investor’s investment, and any income from it, can go down as well as up. Investors cannot rely on the past performance of a service to judge how successful it will be in the future.
- Business Relief is based on personal circumstances, is not guaranteed, and the Government could change the rules in the future.
