Over a conversation with a consultant at a Thanksgiving dinner in 1999, Keith Neilson (CEO and co-founder) spotted an opportunity in the US healthcare market, a $1 trillion industry, to automate the inputting of data. Once back in his native Scotland, he and co-founder Gordon Craig set up Craneware, a software business that helps US healthcare companies operate more cost effectively while delivering better health outcomes.
