Eleco is one of the oldest businesses currently listed on AIM, originally founded as The Gilbert Arc Lamp Company in 1895, listing on the London Stock Exchange in 1939 and subsequently moving to AIM in 2006. Historically, the business was focussed on pre-cast concrete and roof trusses before moving into software in 2000, and eventually becoming a pureplay software business in 2013. Today, Eleco is a prominent international software and services provider for the built environment, covering the entire building lifecycle from early planning and design stages through to construction.
