New luxury cabins bring a fresh touch of style, comfort and sustainability to Murrayshall Country Estate
The Murrayshall Country Estate has unveiled plans to develop 22 new state-of-the-art pod-style cabins in early 2025.
The transformative expansion will allow Murrayshall to welcome over 15,000 more guests a year. The development marks the latest stage in the extension and diversification of accommodation and guest facilities at the stunning Stellar Asset Management-owned country estate and golf course in Perthshire.
Relax in style
Designed and engineered by Scottish firm, Armadilla, the new cabins will offer a unique and eco-friendly sanctuary for guests seeking a countryside retreat. The custom-built units will blend seclusion with luxury, with select pods offering the added indulgence of super-king-sized beds and a private jacuzzi.
With industry-leading eco credentials and advanced smart integrated technology, the new cabins will provide sustainable guest facilities in keeping with the estate’s pristine natural surroundings.
Seizing the potential
The cabin development forms part of the £30 million Murrayshall masterplan, a bold vision to reshape the estate’s future, unlocking a potential investment of £169 million across Perth and Kinross and the creation of 400 job opportunities.
Building on the attractions of the famous golf course and luxurious country house guest facilities, investment in further development and innovation will help Murrayshall to serve more guests, diversify its offering and extend the season year-round. The announcement of the cabin development follows the recent addition of a new adventure pursuits pavilion at the estate. The pavilion offers family-friendly activities such as quad biking, archery and axe throwing.
The ultimate aim of the masterplan is to help realise Murrayshall’s full revenue generating potential and maximise returns for our investors, both during our time as owners and when we eventually come to sell.
Jonathan Gain, CEO of Stellar Asset Management, has been closely involved in the development and implementation of the Murrayshall masterplan. Commenting on the newly announced luxury cabin development, he said: “The Murrayshall Country Estate continues to go from strength to strength. The development of 22 new luxury cabins will increase Murrayshall’s accommodation capacity by 50%, while catering to a diverse range of guests and augmenting the year-round appeal of this stunning rural retreat. As part of the ongoing Murrayshall masterplan, the cabin development will help to create high quality employment for local people and achieve strong outcomes on behalf of our investors.”
