Stellar has entered into a joint venture with Homegrown Property Development to convert the former Barker Shoe factory in Northamptonshire into 68 residential apartments, ranging from studio to two-bedroom apartments.

The site is located 0.5 miles from Northampton town centre and train station in an established residential area with local amenities. Northampton Train Station is serviced by both NorthWestern and East Midlands Railway Lines, with travel times to both London Euston and Birmingham New Street falling below 1 hour. The current journey time to London Euston is fifty minutes, forecast to reduce to thirty minutes with the high-speed rail line.

Situated on the River Nene, Northampton is one of England’s oldest towns and benefits from Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Medieval architecture. The town is home to some impressive buildings designed by famed architect Charles Rennie Macintosh, as well as nationally recognised cultural sites such as Delapre Abbey, Althorp Estate and Silverstone Racecourse.
